From the virtual Orientation and on-site Welcome Day, to housing and customized service plans — and everything in between, each volunteer is thoughtfully supported throughout their experience.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through early November, and you'll hear back about your status within two weeks of submitting. For more information please review the Volunteer Agreement.

— A required virtual orientation takes place before travel. During the stay, volunteers receive support from an on-site host and caretaker, program leadership, and LSOSF leadership.
— Activities are driven by current needs and thoughtfully planned to incorporate each volunteer’s interests, experience, and abilities. Volunteer stays are designed around a ten-day experience, with options for a longer commitment available by request.
— Details will be shared as the trip approaches, but every volunteer will take part in a cultural experience arranged by the Little Sisters of Saint Francis.
